When you consider a trip to Paris, you’ll most likely be considering a trip to enjoy the vast culture of France with trips to galleries, museums, and historical places. To go on a shopping frenzy is another option. However, there is a popular tourist site that you also don’t want to miss when you’re in Paris: Disneyland Paris, or also known as Euro Disney.
Disneyland Paris consists of at least 52 attractions in a 55-hectare site, 7 hotels, a campsite, a ranch, a golf course, and gardens. It consists of two theme parks which are Disneyland Park Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park. These two theme parks plus other recreational attractions like hotels and restaurants is what people call Disneyland Resort Paris. Here are some of the things you’ll definitely enjoy in Disneyland Resort Paris:
Disneyland Park Paris
This part of Disneyland Resort Paris is similar to other Disneyland in other countries. There are Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Discoveryland, and Main Street U.S.A. You can go around these parts of Disneyland Park Paris with a Disney train that gives you easier and faster access.
Walt Disney Studio Park
This part of theme park contains studio lots like Front Lot, Toon Studio, Production Courtyard, Hollywood Boulevard, and Backlot.
Disney Village
Disney Village is the place to find restaurants, shops, and more attractions. You can find places like Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Dinner Show, IMAX Theatre, a bowling alley, and even a disco.
Golf Disneyland
Don’t think that only adults can enjoy this 9-hole and 18-hole golf course. Kids could easily enjoy themselves in the kids section of Golf Disneyland.
There are seven operating hotels you can find in Disneyland Resort Paris which are The Cheyenne Hotel (affordable lodge type hotel with a western theme), The Disneyland hotel (the most lavish hotel), The New York hotel (situated in Lake Disney), The Newport Bay Hotel (New England themed hotel with very large swimming pool), The Sequoia Lodge hotel, The Santa Fe hotel, and the Davy Crockett Ranch. If you’re staying without a car, you might want to consider the fact that the Davy Crockett Ranch is around 5 minutes drive away and has no shuttle. So it would be quite a walk for you to travel back and forth between the Davy Crockett Ranch and the Disneyland Park.
Besides those 7 hotels inside the Disneyland Resort Paris, there are also six hotels near the park that offer free shuttle rides for its visitors to come to and from Euro Disney.
Whether or not you’re travelling with kids shouldn’t be the deciding factor of your trip to Euro Disney. Even if you’re travelling alone or with friends, you can always let out the little kid in you and have some crazy fun.
