If you’re a scuba diving lover, there’s a place in Indonesia that’s truly a haven for you. Raja Ampat in West Papua has been known for its diversity of habitats to explore and stunningly beautiful underwater and above water realm. Highlights of things to do in Raja Ampat includes the water caves of Misool, blue water mangroves for excellent diving, seeing the critter diving at Waigeo Island, the reefs of Fam Islands, the pearl farm at Aliui Bay, great karst Islands of the Wayag Archipelago, and great coral and fish and manta rays dives of the Dampier strait. You can also enjoy the sight of beautiful fishes with lovely colors coming out of the water surface by giving the fishes some bait from the Dampier Strait’s dock. For your information, there are around 1459 species of fish that can be found in Raja Ampat. That number alone would intrigue you to enjoy the beauty of underwater life in Raja Ampat yourselves. There are also many deserted beaches and extensive mangrove forests in Raja Ampat that will truly give you a heavenly visit.
