Beaches in Alicante:

These small towns are famous for its thriving shoe and leather industries and pretty castles. When you visit Elda, do try the La Sirena restaurant and buy some cakes from the shop that belongs to Spain’s most famous chocolatier, Paco Torreblanca. Chocolate Panettoni is recommended and guaranteed to melt your mouth.

Benidorm

This town is the most important tourism spot of Alicante. It has Terra Mitica and Terra Natura, and Mundomar theme parks. It is also popular for its mountain villages of Guadalest and Callosa.

Calpe

This romantic village is perfect for you to enjoy the sun and the beach. There is a massive rock formation called the Penon de Ifach that inspires people to come and enjoy the view around the bays and the Costa Blanca. Calpe’s two beaches, La Fossa and the bay of Gasparet offers you kilometers of swimming and surfing possibilities. And if you don’t want to just stay in the beach, there are also churches of Iglesia Antigua and Senora de las Nieves that were built in the 15^th century.
