Hainan, or also refers to Hainan Island, is a name of province in Republic of China. It is located at the far southern part of China, heading the South China Sea. 3. Nanwan Monkey Island
Nanwan Monkey Island is a nature reserve that has been a home to a plenty of macaque monkeys. The place, which is located at the south coast of Hainan Island, is actually a peninsula. The nature reserve that was built in 1965 is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hainan Island. It now has about 2,500 monkeys among 21 species. A convenient transportation, over-water cable car, to the island is provided. Feel free and safe to directly interact with the monkeys as there are guides that allow you to play and experience harmony with them. To visit this nature reserve you need to pay for138 yuan. This place is open 8.00 to 16.30.
4. Bo’ao Tourism Area
The place that used to be a small fishing port is now turning into a first class tourism resort and meeting area. Located at the eastern coast, Bo’ao is a tourist destination with amazing natural views and great attractions that has a spectacular spot for golfing and sailing. If you are a golf or sailing fancier, visiting Bo’ao during holiday in Hainan is a must. To get there, you can simply take a long distance bus to Haikou to Qionghai, and then take a bus to Bo’ao.
